On Monday, July 14th, 2025, Community Policing Officers from the Punta Gorda Formation, Cpl. D. Ishim, P.C. B. Gamboa, P.C. S. Coleman, and P.C. A. Pinto, hosted a Neighborhood Watch meeting at Garay’s Kitchen. Executive members of the Evergreen Neighborhood Watch committee, Ms. Sherene Garay and Ms. Jo Audinette, were present. The team discussed the process for recruiting new members and proposed several methods to actively involve the community. Additionally, a proposal for community service and increased police involvement was presented to strengthen ties with the Evergreen Neighborhood Watch Group and the Belize Police Department.
