STOLEN FIREARM

On the 6th of September 2017, Nasario MENDEZ, 71-year-old Farmer of Douglas Village, reported that between the hours of 5:50am and 9:30am on the said date, someone stole his 16 gauge single action shotgun, Harrington and Richardson Brand, which he had hidden. Police Investigation continues.

ARMED ROBBERY

On the 7th of September 2017 at 8:24pm, Hong ZHAN, 23-year-old Businessman of corner Cemetery Street and West Street in Punta Gorda Town, reported that while he was inside his store - Happy's Store - located at the same address, two masked men ran inside his store. One was armed with what resembles a revolver. The armed masked man then pointed the firearm at him while his accomplice jumped over the counter and took about $2,500.00 in cash from the drawer. The two culprits then fled the scene. Police investigation continues.
