FOUND PROPERTY

On the 11th of August 2017, Belize City Police conducting operations on Haulz Street, Belize City, found a transparent zip lock bag containing a black pen gun with a .22 caliber slug stuck inside.

SAN IGNACIO TOWN

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE

Isias David BANNER, 48-year-old Contractor of Key Works Agricultural Layout (Cayo Vista Layout), reported that in the beginning of July 2017, a mechanic came to his house to pick up his white Toyota Hilux pick-up with license plate SI C-04065,black rims and tinted windows to do an overhaul. He stated that on the 11th of August 2017 at 8:45am, he received a phone call from the mechanic who stated that his vehicle was missing from the garage situated on Joseph Andrews Drive, San Ignacio. Police are investigating.

BURGLARY

Acting upon Information, received at 7:15am on the 12th of August 2017, of a burglary at the Caribbean Tires Limited in the Spanish Lookout Community. Police visited the area where 54-year-old David REIMER reported that between the hours of 6:15pm on the 11th of August 2017 and 7:00am on the 12th of August 2017, someone broke into the business establishment and damaged an iron safe (27 inches by 30 inches) by wrenching off the iron safe door located in a room at the lower flat of the building and stole $20,000.00US, $5,000.00, banking checks and an undisclosed amount of cash. Police are investigating
