KEPT UNLICENSED FIREARM/POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED DRUGS
On the 10th of August 2017 at about 3:15am, Corozal Police conducted a search at the residence of Dale F. IRWIN, 63-year-old American National of Chula Vista area, Corozal Town, which led to the discovery of a double barrel shot gun, three plastic bags containing 226.3 grams of cannabis, three pipes, one rifle and a round of ammunition. Dale IRWIN was subsequently arrested and charged for (3) counts of Possession of Controlled Drugs, (2) two counts of Drug Trafficking, (2) two counts of Kept Unlicensed Firearm (3) counts of Possession of Pipe and one count of Kept Ammunition without a Gun License.

FOUND PROPERTY
On the 10th of August 2017 at about 12:35pm, police on mobile patrol on the Chan Pine Ridge Road conducted a search in an abandoned lot which led to the discovery of a chrome and black .22 Berretta pistol and an empty magazine which were deposited as Found Property.
BELIZE CITY
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE
On the 10th of August 2017, Joan Maxine PAKEMAN, 52-year-old of # 58 Regent Street West, Belize City, reported that about 1:00am, she saw two male persons stealing her 2014 Blue Meilun brand motorcycle bearing license plate MC-3553 which was parked inside her compound. Police have since arrested and charged two 16-year-olds for Theft in the presence of their parents.
ROBBERY
On the 10th of August 2017 at about 7:00am, Andre CASTILLO, 35-year-old Car Dealer, reported that while in West Landivar area he was approached by 2 male persons. One reportedly pointed a firearm at him and demanded his belongings. He was then relieved of his wallet, jewelry and other personal belongings. The culprits then made good their escape.
HATTIEVILLE
ROBBERY
On the 10th of August 2017, police responded to a robbery on Ysaguirre Boulevard in Hattieville where they spoke with Otoniel PECH, 36-year-old Driver for Quality Poultry Product. He reported, that at approximately 1:00pm, he was along with 36-year-old Heraldo CHIAC and 29-year-old Orlando TEUL when they arrived in Hattieville to make a delivery and upon stopping at Blessed Love Shop on Ysaguirre Boulevard they were held up at gun point by a male person. The male person reportedly assaulted him and demanded money. He reportedly handed over a brown bag which contained an undisclosed amount of money. PECH was also reportedly stabbed to his left leg. Police have since detained two men pending investigations.
DRUG TRAFFICKING
On the 10th of August 2017 at 11:44pm, police conducted a search at a residence in Hattieville which was occupied by a minor and 26-year-old Shakira SMITH. Police found a black plastic bag containing 410 grams cannabis in the back of a tube television. Both persons were arrested for Drug Trafficking.
