On the 25th of July 2017 at about 8:50pm, Police visited ‘My Store’ located on Manta Ray Boulevard Ladyville Village where Zheuchu WU, 58 year old Naturalized Belizean, reported that around 8:45pm on the 25th of July 2017, a male person approached him at his store and demanded that he opened the door. However, when he refused, the male then took out a black object resembling a firearm and again demanded that he open the door which he did. A male person who was already in the shop went over to the cash register and took out an undisclosed amount of money. Police are investigating.



On the 26th of July 2017 at about 12:05am, Police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where they observed Leroy GLADDEN, 27 year old Belizean Stevedore of Belize City, suffering from (1) one  gunshot wound to the right side of the chest. Initial investigation revealed that GLADDEN and friends were socializing in front of his residence when they were approached by 2 male persons when one of them fired several shots in his direction causing his injury. GLADDEN is listed in a stable condition. Police are investigating.



A 13 year old female Student of San Pedro Town visited the San Pedro Police Station, along with her mother, and reported that sometime in the month of December, 2016, at around 5:00pm, her grand uncle went into her room and touched her indecently. Police detained one person, pending charge.
