MURDER ARREST
Reference the Shooting Death of Andrew Ian BENNETT Sr that occurred on the 24th of May 2017, on the 15th of June 2017, police arrested and charged David Richard ARNOLD, 25-year-old Construction Worker of Armadillo Street, Belize City, with Murder.

On the 14th of June 2017, police conducted an Anti-Drugs Operation in an open lot on the North side of Caye Caulker Village which led to the discovery of a pot inside a black plastic bag containing 324.1 grams of cannabis. The cannabis was labeled and sealed as Found Property.
VALLEY OF PEACE
THEFT OF MOTORCYCLE
On the 14th of June 2017 at 9:30am, Kevin Antonio AMAYA reported that at about 2:00am, he was socializing at a house on Rutilio Grande Street, Valley of Peace Village, where he parked his Black Meilun Motorcycle. He then remembered that he had left the key in the ignition and when he went looking for it and realized the motor cycle was missing. They then decided to follow the barking of dogs as they suspected that the persons with the motorcycle were nearby. They managed to find two male persons pushing the motor-cycle, but when they tried to intercept them, one escaped by running into the bushes, but was later caught. Police have since arrested and charged Moses ICAL, 20-year-old Store Clerk of Valley of Peace Village, and Edwardo SHO, 20-year-old Unemployed Belizean of Bladden Village, for the crime of theft of motor vehicle.
DANGRIGA TOWN
ARMED ROBBERY
On the 14th of June 2017 at 3:00pm, police responded to an armed robbery report at Southern Quick Loan on Chatuye Street, Dangriga Town, where they spoke to Felecita MURCIA, 29-year-old Cashier, who reported that while at the business place a male person entered the office with a manila envelope in his hand and immediately pushed her inside the office. There he closed the door and took out what appeared to be a firearm. He pointed the firearm at her and demanded money. She then reportedly handed over $412.00. The culprit placed the gun on a table and began searching the cabinets and reportedly hit MURCIA to the left side of her face. The culprit then stole a number of electronic items, jewelry and other miscellaneous items. Police have since apprehended the culprit, Bruce HARVEY, 34-year-old Surveyor of #7 Dolphin Street, Belize City, and recovered the stolen items along with a black 9mm pistol with a magazine containing (10) live rounds.
