DRUG TRAFFICKING

On the 12th of June 2017 at 11:30am, police were conducting mobile patrol on Sail Fish Street, San Pedro Town, when their attention was drawn to three male persons sitting on a fence by the seaside. Upon seeing the police vehicle, one of the male persons placed an item on the ground. A search was conducted in the area where the three men were standing. A transparent bag containing 6.9 grams of cocaine was retrieved. Kenny FUNEZ; 27-year-old Belizean Cook of Sea Star Street, Justin AUGUST; 26-year-old Belizean Laborer of D.F.C Area, and German RAMON; 33-year-old Belizean Maintenance-man of San Marcus area, were arrested and charged for the offence of Drug Trafficking.

MISSING PERSON

On the 12th of June 2017, Marie RAMIREZ, 58-year-old Belizean Domestic of Camalote Village, reported that on the same date at about 10:00am, she left home to visit the Methodist High School in Belmopan to pay School fees for her daughter, Cindy Esmerta Aralee RAMIREZ, 16-year-old Belizean Student, and upon her return home, her daughter was missing. Cindy was last seen wearing a pink blouse and a short light blue jeans pants. She is of fair complexion, slim built, stands about 5 feet 3 inches in height, weighs about 75 pounds and has curly brown hair. If anyone knows the whereabouts of Cindy they are asked to call the nearest police station.
