THEFT OF MOTORCYCLE
Andre GORDON, 31-year-old of Belize City, reported that on the 31st of May 2017, at about 2:00am, he parked his blue 2015 Meilun ML 150 9J motorcycle, bearing license plate MC 3789, in his driveway. On the same date at around 7:00am, he noticed his motorcycle was missing. Police are investigating.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE
Leopoldo SUAREZ, 53-year-old of #788 Mount Pleasant, Belmopan, reported that sometime between 7:30am on the 29th of May 2017 and 10:30am on the 31st of May 2017, his grey 2002 Toyota Sequoia with license plates BMP-C-05488 was stolen from in front of Brown Sugar Compound located on North Front Street, Belize City where it was parked. He further stated that inside his Toyota Sequoia he had a magazine for his Ruger P95 9mm pistol with (8) live rounds of 9mm ammunition. Police are investigating.
FOUND PROPERTY
On 31st May 2017at 5:00pm, police conducted searches in an abandoned lot on Electric Avenue which led to the discovery (3) black plastic bags containing 1,345.7 grams of cannabis.

HOUSE FIRE
Acting upon information received of a house fire in Harmonyville, police visited the area between miles 44 and 45 on the George Price highway where Lupita's Store, a 20 feet by 20 feet wooden structure, was seen engulfed in flames. Preliminary investigations by Fire Personnel revealed that the cause of fire was as a result of candles that were used in the kitchen area. Police are investigating.
PUNTA GORDA TOWN
INFANTICIDE/CONCEALMENT OF BODY OF CHILD
Acting upon information received on the 31st of May 2017, at 1:50pm, police visited San Vicente Village, Toledo, where they spoke with the Alcalde - Edgar PINTO - where he reported that on the 31st June 2017 at 12:00pm, a villager reported to him that he saw the body of a baby floating in the river. Edgar PINTO led Police to a pasture about half mile off the main road in the village, where they saw the body of a new born baby floating about five meters off the river bank in an advanced state of decomposition. Investigation revealed that the mother, Santos Cac ASIG, 29-year-old Guatemalan of the same Village, gave birth to the baby at 10:00am on the 28th of June 2017, and then reportedly threw the baby in the river. The body was retrieved from the river where it was observed to be a male child and was transported to the Punta Gorda Hospital Morgue where he was pronounced dead on arrival at 6:00pm. Police have detained Santos Cac ASIG and Oscar Francisco POP, 28-year-old Belizean Farmer, pending investigation.
