FOUND PROPERTY (FIREARM)

On the 29th of May 2017 at 2:45am, Orange Walk Police visited an area by the riverside about 5 miles Northwest of August Pine Ridge Village where under some bushes a sack was found. The sack contained a 16 gauge shotgun along with (22) 16 gauge cartridges. No one was seen in the area and the items were deposited as Found Property.

BURGLARY

Iris GARCIA, 44-year-old Principal of Arms of Love Primary School located in Kontiki area, San Ignacio Town, reported sometime between 12:00pm on the 25th of May 2017 and 9:30am on the 28th of May 2017; the school office located on the upper flat was burglarized. Stolen from inside the office were (10) black Dell Laptops with chargers, (1) black Dell laptop from the Ministry of Education, (1) projector, (1) power outlet and $275.00 in cash. Police are investigating.
