DRUG TRAFFICKING
On the 9th of May 2017 at 5:30am, police were conducting operations in the Eiley Sub Division area of San Pedro Town. A room on the lower flat of the two stories wooden apartment complex was searched where three persons were present namely, Phillip SEALY, 21-year-old Tour Guide, Ernesto LOPEZ, 18-year-old Fisherman and Serahi ARIAS, 18-year-old unemployed Salvadoran. The search led to the discovery of 424 grams of cannabis and 0.69 grams crack cocaine. All three persons were arrested and charged for the offence of Drug Trafficking and Possession of Controlled Drugs.

PUBLIC DRINKING
On the 9th of May 2017 at 8:00am, police saw Shane Anthony MORGAN, 40-year-old of Western Avenue, Belize City, drinking form a Belikin pint while riding a bicycle. He was informed of the offence committed and was arrested and charged for the offence of “Prohibition of Public Drinking.”
Then at 9:00am, police arrested and charged Roberto CHI, 61-year-old of Banak Street, Belize City, who was found sitting on the steps of Lone Star shop - located on Central American Boulevard - drinking white rum from a bottle. As a result, he was arrested and charged for the offence of Public Drinking.
At 5:30pm, Jorge ATILIO, 47-year-old of Faber's Road Extension, Belize City, was found in front of Ricky's Shop at #3321 Central American Boulevard drinking Kubuli Beer out of a black plastic bag. He was arrested and charged for the offence of Public Drinking.
SAN IGNACIO TOWN
DRUG TRAFFICKING
On the 9th of May 2017 at 5:00pm, police were conducting a vehicle check point on the George Price Highway by the police booth in front of Rumors Resort in San Ignacio Town where they searched a passenger bus with only four passengers on board. On-board were two male passengers namely, Milton Joevany Godoy LINARES, 25-year-old Guatemalan Labourer and David Marcelo LINARES, 19-year-old Labourer of a San Ignacio address. Above them on the rack of the bus was a black knapsack containing 789 grams of cannabis. Milton Godoy LINARES and David Milton LINARES were arrested and charged for the offence of Drug Trafficking.
