THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE
Jermain JORGUESON, 28-year-old of Belize City, reported that, between 9:00am and 11:30am on the 2nd of May 2017, he parked his grey 1995 Mazda Protégé car in front of the ICB office at the Northern Border and upon his return the vehicle was nowhere to be found. Police investigations continue.

DEATH INVESTIGATION
Reference the vehicle fire with charred remains inside, sent on the 2nd of May 2017, the identity of the person has not yet been determined. At 3:00pm on the same date, Dr. KEN conducted a post mortem examination on the charred human remains where at the conclusion the cause of death was undetermined. Police investigations continue.
BELIZE DISTRICT
HOUSE FIRE
At 3:35am on the 2nd of May 2017, police visited #7379 Elston Kerr Street, Belize City, where they observed a wooden house with zinc roofing completely engulfed in flames. The fire was later extinguished by personnel from the Fire Department. Dawn FABER, 52-year-old of the given address and owner of the house, reported that she has not been staying at the residence and is in the process of moving out. She only had some household items there and the electricity was not connected. Police also observed another wooden structure with zinc roofing in the same yard which was partially burnt. Marvin LORD, 46-year-old resident of the second house, reported that, at 3:30am on the 2nd of May 2017, he was awakened by his granddaughter who informed him that the other house was engulfed in flames. He and his family tried to extinguish the fire. The house belonging to FABER was completely destroyed while the other house was partially burnt and received water damage. The cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained. No one was injured and police investigations continue.
