COROZAL DISTRICT

MISSING PERSONS

On the 26th of April 2017 at about 11:43pm, American National Joseph MILHOLEN reported that at 8:30am, he went to pick up his friend Francesca MATUS, 52-year-old Canadian National of Serenity Sands Consejo Road, Corozal District, to drop her at the Phillip Goldson International Airport. However, she could not be located. He then called her several times, but to no avail. He also called her boyfriend, Drew Thomas De VOURSEY, 36-year-old American National of Ranchito Village Corozal District, but received no response. Drew’s cycle was parked in Francesca’s driveway and her white in color Isuzu Rodeo was missing. He stated that the last time that he saw Francesca was on the 25th of April 2017 at a bar and grill located at 1st Avenue, Corozal Town, along with her boyfriend Drew. Francesca was last seen wearing a denim white short pants and a white long sleeve blouse with a pair of brown wedges shoes. Francesca is slim built, 5 feet 1 inch in height with shoulder length brown wavy hair with highlights. Drew was last seen wearing a blue and white shirt with Toronto maple leaves on the front, a camouflage long pants, a pair of brown boots and a black wrist watch. He has a chain tattooed on his right arm and is 6 feet 6 inches in height. Any information of their whereabouts can be sent to the nearest police station.

BELIZE CITY 

FOUND PROPERTY

On the 26th of April 2017 at 3:30pm, police searched  an empty lot located at mile three (3) on the Phillip Goldson Highway which led to the discovery of a black and chrome .25 hand pistol and a magazine containing four 6.35 live ammunition. At the time off the search no one was in the immediate area and the weapon was deposited as “Found Property”.
 
LORDS BANK 

MURDER

On the 26th of April 2017 at about 10:31pm, acting on information received of a dead body found in the Green Garden Estate area of Lord’s Bank Village, police visited the scene where they saw the body of Brandon Randy BRADLEY, 17-year-old Student of Lord’s Bank Village, with a gunshot wound to the upper right chest area, left shoulder and back. Investigations revealed that BRADLEY was hanging out at a local shop with his brother and then went home. Moments later, gunshots were heard in the area and upon making checks, his brother found him about 30-40 yards away from the road in some bushes lying face down, apparently dead. He removed his brother from the bushes and took him to the roadside where police found him. The bag pack and bicycle which BRADLEY was riding were missing. The body of Brandon Randy BRADLEY was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Police are investigating
 
ROBBERY

On the 26th April 2017 at 9:40pm, acting on information received of a robbery at the 24/7 gas station located at the junction of the Phillip Goldson Highway and Lords Bank Road in Ladyville Village, where police visited the scene. They spoke to a Chinese businessman who reported that sometime around 9:39pm, he was informed by his female employee, a gas pump attendant, that she was approached by a male person of brown complexion. The person reportedly took out a black handgun, pointed it at her and took away her two gold chains and the purse containing an undetermined amount of money which was collected from the sales of gas for that day. Thereafter, the male person then made good his escape. Police investigation continues.
