SHOOTING INCIDENT 

On the 23rd of March 2017 at 9:10pm, police visited San Mateo area where they saw Delson PAGUADA, 18-year-old Fisherman of San Mateo, suffering from a gunshot wound to his right armpit. He was taken to the San Pedro Polyclinic where Leroy GOFF, 30-year-old also of San Mateo area, was also brought in suffering from gunshot wounds to his back and chest. Investigations revealed that at about 9:00pm, PAGUADA was walking towards his house and while he was about 20 feet away he heard gunshots and saw two male persons in a yard opposite his house. Both male person had what appeared to be a 9mm pistol in their hand as he saw them shooting in his direction. He later realized that he had been shot. The Police arrived in the area shortly after and rushed him to the San Pedro Polyclinic. They later found Leroy GOFF, in the same yard opposite his house, also suffering from gunshot injuries. Police rushed him to the San Pedro Polyclinic. Police have since detained two men pending investigating. 
 
BELIZE CITY

SHOOTING INCIDENT

On the 23rd of March 2017 at 8:08pm, police responded to a shooting incident on Neal’s Pen Road extension where they met Ron MYVETTE, 26-year-old Food Vendor of Belize City, suffering from a gunshot injury to the back. He reported that a little after 8:00pm, he was walking on Neals Pen Road when he was approached from behind by a male person who shot him. Ron MYVETTE was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he is listed in a stable condition. Police investigations continue.
