FATAL TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

On the 22nd of March 2017 at 8:15am, police visited an accident scene between miles 57and 58 on the Phillip Goldson Highway where a pickup truck and a motor cycle collided; fatally injuring the motorcycle driver. On the scene was a White 4-door 2001 Ford Ranger Pickup which was driven at the time by Hernan CORTEZ, 31-year-old Laborer of Orange Walk Town. About two feet away in front of the pickup was a white 125 cc 2014 Meilun Scooter which had extensive damages to the front portion. It was driven at the time by Matthew James COCOM, 25-year-old Laborer of Trial Farm Village, who suffered severe head and body injuries.
