On the 19th of February 2017 at about 11:15pm, Orange Walk Police visited Cedar Street, Trial Farm area, where a green wooden house was seen engulfed in flames. Erica VASQUEZ, 35-year-old Honduran, who is the owner of the house, stated that the fire started from an electrical malfunction from a standing fan inside a room. The structure was totally destroyed. No one was injured. Police are investigating.



On the 20th of February 2017 at about 6:11am, police were conducting operations within the Pinks Alley area where a search of a derelict white van led to the discovery of a black plastic bag containing 1074.3 grams of cannabis. The drug was deposited as “Found Property”.
