ARREST

Reference the Use of Deadly Means of Harm Report dated the 31st of January 2017; where 21-year-old Jaleel GOODGER was shot to the leg, on the 31st of January 2017, police charged a 16-year-old male for the crime of Attempted Murder, Grievous Harm, Use of Deadly Means of Harm and Conspiracy to Commit Murder.

SAN IGNACIO TOWN

FIRE

On the 31st of January 2017, San Ignacio Police visited Santa Familia Village, Cayo District, where 53-year-old Antonio AYALA reported that while at work he was informed that his wooden house was on fire. The structure was completely destroyed by fire. Investigations continue.
 
DRUG TRAFFICKING

On the 31st of January 2017 at around 1:30pm, San Ignacio police on mobile patrol on Cristo Rey Road, Santa Elena Town, stopped and searched Ferdinand MUSCHAMP, 25-year-old of Santa Elena Town, who was in the possession of a brown knapsack. The search yielded 262.0 grams of cannabis. He was arrested for the offence of Drug Trafficking.
 
FOUND PROPERTY

On the 31st of January 2017 at about 11:00am, San Ignacio QRT and K-9 Unit conducted a joint anti-drug operation within San Ignacio Town where they conducted a search on an empty lot in the Shawville area which led to the discovery of a red plastic bag containing 362 grams of Cannabis. Then at 3:30pm, they searched an abandoned lot in the Hot Point area, Santa Elena Town, which led to the discovery of a black plastic bag containing 560 grams of Cannabis. Both parcels were labelled as “Found Property”.
