USE OF DEADLY MEANS OF HARM

At 8:10pm on the 30th of January 2017, police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where they saw Jaheel GOODGER, 21-year-old of Belize City, suffering from a gunshot wound to the right leg. Initial investigation revealed that on the same date at about 8:00pm, while GOODGER was riding his bicycle on West Collect Canal, Belize City, heading towards Ebony Street, he saw three men standing in front of an unknown alley. One of the male persons fired several shots at him as he was riding away. Police have since detained two persons and are seeking a third, pending investigations.

DRUG TRAFFICKING

On the 30th of January 2017 at around 10:00am, while police were on mobile patrol on the George Price Highway in front of Kontiki Gas Station they stopped and searched George Antonio DUBON, 51-year-old Honduran of San Ignacio Town, who was carrying a large black plastic bag. The search resulted in the discovery of (3) black plastic bags containing a total of 1,862 grams of Cannabis. Police have since charged George Antonio DUBON for the offence of “Drug Trafficking”.
