ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

Several persons suffered varied degrees of injuries in a road traffic accident that occurred over the weekend. This occurred in the vicinity of mile 10 on the George Price Highway on the 7th of January 2017 at around 5:15pm, when a truck delivering cement allegedly reversed unto the highway and into a Westline passenger bus. Ten persons inside reportedly received varied degrees of injuries, seven received minor injuries and three remain critical at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Both drivers were served with a Notice of Intended Prosecution as investigations continue.
