PLACENCIA VILLAGE

BURGLARY

On the 19th of December 2016, Rosa Max, 33-year-old Businesswoman of Seine Bight Village, reported that, on the 19th of December 2016 at about 6:00pm, she closed her gift shop - ‘Rosa's Gift Shop’ - located on the sidewalk near Friends Restaurant in Placencia Village and on the 20th of December 2016 at about 9:00am, her daughter went to open the gift shop and noticed that it was burglarized. Stolen from inside the gift shop were jewelry and assorted items. Police are investigating.

MISSING PERSONS

On the 20th of December 2016, Eric MOREIRA, of Las Flores area, reported that on the 17th of December 2016, his uncle, Emilio LOPEZ, 36-year-old Salvadoran of Springfield Community on the Hummingbird Highway, went missing. Emilio LOPEZ was last seen on the 10th of December 2016 at about 5:30pm wearing a white, short sleeved shirt, black long pants and black tennis shoes. Emilio is of Hispanic descent, standing about 5 feet 4 inches in height, weighs about 150lbs and has short hair. Police are investigating.
 
On the 20th of December 2016 at about 7:30am, Xiomara MALDONADO, of Valley of Peace, visited the Valley of Peace Police Sub-Station and reported that her 59-year-old father, Arnulfo MALDONADO, has been missing from their house since the 18th of December 2016. She stated that he has mental problems and is forgetful. Mr. Arnulfo was last seen, on the 18th of December 2016 at about 8:00pm, wearing a sky blue buttoned, long sleeved shirt, a pair of blue jeans and a camouflage cap. He is about 5 feet 7 inches in height and has grey hair. A search team was organized by the villagers to locate him, but was fruitless. Police are investigating.
