FOUND PROPERTY

On the 14th of November 2016, members of the South Side Strike Team conducted a search on an open lot on Iguana Street which led to the discovery of (7) small transparent plastic bags containing 709.1 grams of cannabis. No one was in the area.

On the 14th of November 2016, at about 2:40pm, members of the South Side Strike Team conducted a search in the Faber’s Road Extension area which led to the discovery of a black duffle bag containing (7) parcels  of cannabis a total of 7987.41 grams. No one was in the area.

POSTMORTEM EXAMINATION

On the 14th of November 2016, between the hours of 1:00pm and 4:00pm, a postmortem examination was conducted on the body of Porshan Norman PIPERSBURGH, 21 year-old of Belize City, where the cause of death was certified to be due to “Multiple Organ Failure due to Liver and Right Lung Injuries due to Multiple Gunshot Wounds.

On the 14th of November 2016, between the hours of 3:00pm and 5:00pm, a postmortem examination was conducted on the body Tyler Chrisson SAVERY, 7 year-old of Belize City, where the cause of death was certified to be due to “Exsanguination due to Internal and External Bleeding due to Lung and Heart Failure due to Gunshot Wounds.

ARREST

Reference the shooting deaths of Tyler SAVERY and Porshan PIPERSBURGH, on the 15th of November 2016, Police formally arrested and charged JAYEAR FLORES, 18 year old Belizean Laborer of Belize City, for 2 Counts of Murder. FLORES was arraigned in Magistrate Court and matter has been adjourned until 31st January, 2017.
