DRUGS TRAFFICKING

On the 26th of October 2016 at 9:55am, while conducting routine mobile patrol, police conducted a search on one Chesterlie PINKS, 62 year old Belizean Carpenter, which resulted in the discovery of 3.5grams of suspected cocaine. Chesterlie PINKS was arrested and charged for Drug Trafficking.

HOUSE FIRE

On 26th October 2016 at 1:00pm, police responded to a house fire at No. 7 Hunters Lane in Belize City. Initial investigation revealed that Carla JIMENEZ, a Belizean Domestic, left her son and his father at home when reportedly, her son lit matches inside his bedroom causing the mattress to get caught on fire. Fire department managed to control the fire. Police are investigating.
 
THEFT
 
On the 26th of October 2016, Michael JENKINS visited the police station and reported that, sometime after 4:00pm on the 18th of October 2016, he left his licensed job-issued 9mm Smith & Wesson pistol, inside a draw in his office on the 2nd floor of Port Authority Building. Upon checking at 8:00am, on the 25th October 2016, he noticed that the firearm was missing. Police investigation continued.
 
FOUND PROPERTY
 
On the 25th of October 2016 at 7:20pm, South Side Strike Team conducted a search in an open lot on Caesar Ridge Road which resulted in the discovery of a black plastic bag containing cannabis amounting to a total of 174.5 grams.
 
On the 25th of October 2016 at 11:40am, South Side Strike Team and members from K-9 conducted a search in an open lot on Kraal Road which resulted in the discovery of a rusty can containing a black plastic bag with cannabis amounting to a total of 368.2 grams.
 
On the 25th of October 2016 at 12:30pm, South Side Strike Team and members from K-9 conducted a search in an open lot in the Conch Shell Bay area which resulted in the discovery of a black plastic bag containing cannabis amounting to a total of 282.5 grams.
