ARSON

On the 4th of October 2016, police visited #7 Aloe Vera Street, Belize City where they saw a wooden house engulfed in flames. Initial investigations revealed that, at about 8:00pm on the said date, 42-year-old Caroline HAMILTON; 34-year-old  Winston GABOUREL Sr.; 30-year-old Melisa HAMILTON; 11-year-old Jeremiah HAMILTON, 8-year-old Empress HAMILTON and 4-year-old Ian SAMBULA were inside the house watching television and 11-year-old Aaron GABOUREL was asleep inside a bedroom when a male person with his face covered entered through the front door with a plastic container and sprinkled liquid substance all over  the hall and lit it. The male person then ran through the back yard and escaped in a boat. The house was completely destroyed by fire and Aaron GABOUREL (disabled) was completely burnt inside the house. His body was transported to Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 9:41pm. Melissa HAMILTON, Jeremiah HAMILTON, Winston GABOUREL, Ian SAMBULA and Empress HAMILTON were listed in a stable condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. Police are seeking one man as investigation continues.
