MURDER

On the 13th of September 2016 at about 10:05pm, police responded to a shooting incident on Central American Boulevard, Belize City, and visited the Karl Heusner Memorial hospital where they saw Raul MEDINA, 29-year-old of Belize City, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Investigations revealed that, on the said date at about 9:40pm, Raul MEDINA was walking at the corner of Central American Boulevard and Helen Middleton Street, when a perpetrator from a green SUV vehicle exited and fired several gunshots at him. He was then transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 12:10am on the 14th of September 2016 while undergoing medical treatment. Police have detained one person as investigations continue.
