MURDER

On the 6th of September 2016 at 7:05pm, police visited the corner of Rio Bravo and Boundary Road in Orange Walk Town where inside the living room of a cement house, occupied by Luis BRICENO Sr., his daughter, Jahida Dionica CRAWFORD, 22-year-old of same address, was seen lying face down with gunshot wounds to the back and face. Investigations revealed that at about 7:00pm, someone called for Jahida and she went out on the veranda when someone entered the yard and fired several shots in her direction. Police are investigating.  
 
DRUG TRAFFICKING

On the 6th of September 2016, police conducted a search in a red and white ice cooler that was floating in a creek situated at the back yard of Jose Luis GUERRA. It contained a black plastic bag with 550grams of Cannabis. Police have since detained GUERRA and two other men, pending charges for Drug Trafficking.

FOUND PROPERTY

On the 6th of September 2016, between the hours of 4:30am and 7:30am, a joint anti-drug operation was conducted within Placencia and Seine Bight village by K9 personnel, Special Branch, CIB and Seine Bight Police. A search of two open lots in Seine Bight village led to the discovery of 286.9grams of Cannabis.
