SAN PEDRO TOWN

DRUG TRAFFICKING

On Wednesday, 13th July 2016, around 4:00am, police conducted a house search at an apartment complex in San Pedro. A search of the left pocket of a brown camouflage long sleeved jacket which was inside the living room of the said apartment led to the discovery of a plastic bag containing 526.1 grams of Cannabis, four plastic bags of 26.1 grams of suspected Cocaine and one plastic bag containing 27.2 grams of Cannabis resin. Police have since arrested and charged 27-year-old Juslyn DANIELS and 17-year-old Davinci CASTELLANOS, both of San Pedro Town, for Drug Trafficking.

DANGRIGA TOWN

FOUND PROPERTY

On Wednesday, 13th July 2016 around 5:00pm, police conducted a search in an abandoned building on Papa Mena Street in the Rivas Estate area where a white plastic bag containing 115 grams of Cannabis was found.
 
At around 5:15pm, police conducted a search in an abandoned lot in the Lakeland area which led to the discovery of a black plastic bag containing 360 grams of Cannabis.
 
SAN IGNACIO TOWN

FOUND PROPERTY

On Wednesday, 13th July, 2016, at 9:45am, police conducted an anti-drug operation within San Ignacio that led to the discovery of a black plastic bag which contained 146 grams of cannabis which was in an abandon lot located on Teck Street. 

PUNTA GORDA TOWN

DRUG TRAFFICKING

On the 12th and 13th July, 2016, Punta Gorda police and the K-9 Unit conducted operations in Punta Gorda which resulted in the confiscation of 562 grams of Cannabis. At the residence of Anthony JOHNSON, 156 grams of Cannabis was found. Police have since arrested and charged 36-year-old Anthony JOHNSON, 25-year-old Sean GARCIA of Independence Village, 38-year-old Denbigh Dwight NEAL of Belize City and 34-year-old Gary Cooper of Belize City; all for the offence of Drug Trafficking. In an empty open lot on Jose Maria Nunez Street, 209 grams of Cannabis was found. In an abandoned lot at #20 Jose Maria Nunez Street, 207 grams of Cannabis was found and in an abandoned lot behind St. Benedict Primary School, in the Indianville Area, Punta Gorda Town, a 12-gauge pump action shotgun was found.
