ORANGE WALK DISTRICT

MISSING PERSON

Orfa CHI, 49-year-old of Santa Cruz Village, Orange Walk District, reported that on the 8th of June 2016 at 3:30pm, her 14-year-old daughter Suemi Lizeth CHI left home saying that she would go to the river and has not returned. According to Orfa her daughter had been seen in Orange Walk Town along with a woman who is known as "PELONA".  Suemi is of Hispanic descent, about 100lbs in weight, about 5 feet in height, stout built and has shoulder length curly black hair. She was last seen wearing a white and pink shorts, red blouse, a pair of blue slippers and a silver chain with two medals.

MURDER

On the 12th of June 2016 at around 6:00pm, police responded to a report of someone being shot on the Fabers Road Basketball Court at the corner of Central American Boulevard and Fabers Road. Police visited the location where they saw Marlon Anthony BONNER, 34-year-old of Belize City, lying on the ground apparently dead with gunshot wounds to the back, head and chest. Initial investigations revealed that while he was on the court, a lone perpetrator approached him and fired several shots at him causing the fatal injuries. He was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 7:00pm. Police investigation continues.
 
 
PLACENCIA VILLAGE

BURGLARY

On the 12th of June 2016 at 11:30am, Maxine WHITE, 55-year-old American Manager of Placencia Village, reported that between the hours 1:00pm on the 8th of June 2016 and 5:00pm on the 11th of June 2016, her home was burglarized while she was away. Stolen from inside her home were a metal safe, $20,000 in cash, passports, jewelry, assorted currencies and other personal items. Police investigations continue.
