MURDER

At 8:45pm on the 9th of June 2016, Hattievillle Police received information of shots being fired on the dirt road leading into Mahogany Heights Village. They visited the area where they saw Lyndon MURILLO, 51-year-old Watchman of Mahogany Heights, lying face up on the ground motionless. Initial investigation revealed that at 8:40pm, MURILLO was riding his bicycle on the dirt road when someone opened fire at him. The body was observed with bullet wounds to the chest, back and the left ankle. The body of Lyndon MURILLO was removed and taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and now lies at the K.H.M.H. morgue awaiting a Post Mortem examination.

ATTEMPTED MURDER

On the 9th of July 2016, police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where they saw Deshawn YOUNG, 25-year-old of Belize City, suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest, neck and shoulder. Initial investigation revealed that at around 9:30pm, residents heard gunshots in the area of Laura Dunn Street and police responded where they found YOUNG lying on the street. He was then taken to the hospital where his condition is described as critical. Police investigations continue.
