MURDER ARREST

Reference the murder of Lloyd AUGUSTUS, reported on 6th April 2014, on 20th October 2014, Belize City Police formally arrested and charged 24-year-old Sherman RODNEY, Belizean Laborer of Belize City for the crime of Murder.
 
BURGLARY

On 20th October 2014, a 26-year-old American National and Resident of San Pablo area, visited the San Pedro Town Police Station and reported that on 14th October 2014, someone burglarized her home. Stolen from her home was a grey LENLX brand camera bag which contained: (1) black Nikon brand camera, (1) vintage PENTAX K1000 brand camera, an extra attachable camera lens, and an assortment of memory cards. Police are investigating.

BELIZE CITY

BURGLARY               

A Fisheries Officer reported that sometime between 5.30pm on 17th October 2014 and 7.50pm on 20th October 2014, his office located on the 2nd floor of the Fisheries Department Building on Princess Margaret Drive, Belize City, was broken into. Stolen from inside his office were: (1) Grey Dell Laptop, (1) Google Nexus Tablet, (2) external hard drives, (1) Grey Dell Laptop, (1) Black HP Laptop, and (1) GPS. Police investigations continue.
 
BURGLARY                  

At 5:10am on 20th October 2014, police visited Belize Marketing and Development Corporation situated at #117 North Front Street, Belize City, where they spoke to the KBH supervisor. The supervisor informed the police that at 4:00am; he was called and informed by his security officer, that someone had apparently burglarized the Housing and Planning Department building. Initial Investigations revealed that sometime between the hours of 3:00am and 3:30am, someone apparently entered the Housing and Planning building and made their entrance by removing  (4) glass louvers from the window at the back. Items stolen are not yet ascertained. Police investigations continue.
 
INTERMEDIATE SOUTHERN FORMATION

DRUG TRAFFICKING

On 20th October 2014 at 1:00pm, ISF Police conducted a search at the residence of Moses RODRIGUEZ, 27 year old Belizean Laborer; and Jamari RODRIGUEZ, 33 year old American Cashier, both of Hopkins Village. Police discovered (2) transparent bags containing some leafy vegetable substance suspected to be cannabis. Further searches revealed (8) parcel of green leafy substances suspected to be cannabis in a metal safe. Money, believed to be proceeds of the sale of drugs, was also found during the search of the residence. Searches conducted under the house led to the discovery of (2) black plastic bags containing (20) parcels of ideal bags with some green leafy substances suspected to be cannabis. The drugs were weighed separately in their presence. The (2) Transparent ideal bags amounted to 5.25 grams cannabis and the (8) parcels of suspected cannabis amounted to 6.20 grams. The black bag along with its content amounted to 154 grams. Police have arrested and charged Moses RODRIGUEZ and Jamari RODRIGUEZ for the offence of Drug Trafficking.
