BELIZE CITY   

ARREST

Reference the Rape report made on 17th October 2014 by an 18-year-old student who was raped in Ladyville while under the influence, police have since arrested and charged Jaime ANDREWS, 27 year old of Belize City, with the crime of Rape.                                        

FOUND PROPERTY         

On 17th October 2014, police searched an abandoned lot on Flamboyant Street where they found a white plastic bag containing (7) seven black plastic bags which had in a green leafy substance, believed to be cannabis. No one was in the area and drugs were taken to Raccoon Police Station. The drugs weighed a total of 488.0 grams. The drugs were deposited as found property
 
DROVE MOTOR VEHICLE WITH ALCOHOL CONCENTRATION ABOVE THE PRESCRIBED LIMIT

On 17th October 2014 at about 3:15pm, police visited Mile 1 1/2 George Price Highway (Belize Foam Factory) where a red and blue Guerra's Blue Bird Bus bearing License Plate BVO-D-00143 was seen parked on the right hand side of the Road in the direction of Hattieville Village. When police approached the driver there was a strong scent of alcohol emanating from him. He was informed that he was suspected of driving the bus while under the influence of alcohol. The driver was escorted to the Racoon Street Police Station where he provided a urine sample. After receiving the results, police arrested and charged William AYALA, 44 year old Belizean Bus Driver of Benque Viejo Town, for the offence of Drove Motor Vehicle with Alcohol Concentration above the Prescribed Limit.
