SAN PEDRO TOWN

DISCOVERY OF AN UNLICENSED 9MM LUGER (MODEL C9) PISTOL

On 14th October 2014 at 2:30pm, an unlicensed black 9mm Luger pistol with its serial number not visible containing an empty magazine was found in the San Pablo Area, San Pedro Town. The firearm was labeled as found property.
 
MISSING PERSON

Lyndon George SWASEY, 40yrs, reported that he left home on 9th October 2014 at about 11:00pm, en route to work leaving his common law wife, Ariela VAUGHN, 35yrs, at home. On 10th October 2014 at about 11:30am, he received a phone call from her, telling him to go to the bank for money and he assured her that he would. By the time he arrived home she and their 1-year-old son, Asha SWASEY, were nowhere to be found. If Ariela VAUGHN and Asha SWASEY are seen please call the nearest police station.

BELMOPAN CITY

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE

Steven Van SICKEL, 64 year old American Retiree of Belmopan, reported that he was in the process of clearing a land situated in the Valley of Peace Village Area, using a blue, 1999 New Holland Tractor with model number 4630, VIN 126394B bearing License Plate number CY A-4277. Attached to the tractor, is a yellow, 6ft, New Cutter HD (Bush Hog). On 7th October 2014, the tractor experienced mechanical problem and was left on site. On 13th October 2014 at about 9:00am, he went to recover his tractor; however, he discovered that the tractor was missing. Police investigations continue. 
 
MISSING PERSON

Maria CHATA, 34 year old of Costa Rico Extension, Salvapan Area, reported that on 13th October 2014 at 7:40am, she left for work leaving her four children including 15-year-old Jorge CHATA at home. At about 10:00am, her daughter called her to inform her that Jorge Chata had left home and did not say where he was going. She stated that she had no idea where he could be at this time. Jorge Chata is of clear complexion, Mayan descent. He is 4 feet 2 inches in height and has a tattoo with the name Anna on the right arm. Police investigations continue.

POSTMORTEM EXAMINATION

On 14th October 2014, a postmortem examination was conducted on the body of Kevin Andrew TAYLOR Jr., 21 year old of Unitedville, where the cause of death was certified as Cardiogenic Shock due to left descending coronary artery injury due to stab wounds to his chest.
 
POSTMORTEM EXAMINATION

On 14th October 2014 a postmortem examination was conducted on the body of Elam PENNER, 6 year old of Spanish Lookout, Cayo District, where the cause of death was certified to be Asphyxiation Bronchial Aspiration.

SHOOTING INCIDENT

At about 9:00am on 14th October 2014, police visited an area on the Texmar Shrimp Farm Road where they saw the body of a female with what appeared to be gunshot wounds all over her body. She had (2) gunshot wounds to the stomach, (1) to the chest, (4) to the left side of the temple and one to the right upper buttocks.  The body was later identified as Ilda Lizette ALDANA, 33 year old of Independence Village. The body was transported to the Southern Regional Hospital Morgue awaiting a postmortem examination. Eight 9mm expended shells were found at the scene. Police investigations continue.
