ROBBERY
A 44-year-old Businesswoman of Orange Walk Town reported that on 11th September 2014 at about 2:15pm, she was inside her business establishment ‘DARVI'S’ when two male persons entered. One of them was armed with a hand gun. The male person then pointed the gun at her and demanded money. He then proceeded to rob her of $604.00, (1) blue Android smart cell phone and (1) black Samsung smart cell phone. Police are investigating.

AGGRAVATED BURGLARY/ GRIEVOUS HARM
Acting on information received of a Home Invasion, police visited the north side of the island at Cloister’s Apartment, in the Tres Cocos Area of San Pedro Town, where they saw three persons with varying degrees of injuries. Mr. Douglas KELLY had cut wounds to the wrist, hand, stomach and head; Ms. Gail NEAL had cut wounds over left eye and mouth; and Mr. Thomas FIORILLE had a cut wound to the chest and wrist. Initial investigation revealed that at 12:10am, 68-year-old Douglas KELLY and his wife 65-year-old Gail NEAL, both retired Americans, were sitting in their living room of their condo, watching TV, when they were alerted by a noise coming from the direction of their front veranda. Upon investigation, Mr. Douglas was attacked by a tall male person of dark complexion who was armed with a kitchen knife. The male person then entered the building and inflicted cut wounds to both Douglas and his wife. Upon hearing the noises, American citizen, 40-year-old Thomas FIORILLE went to investigate and he too was attacked. A struggle ensued, where both Douglas and Thomas fended off the culprit who reportedly received injuries to his head. The culprit then managed to make good his escape. Nothing was reported stolen. Police are looking for this person as investigations continue.

DRUG TRAFFICKING
On 11th September 2014 at around 4:30pm, police conducted an operation at a residence, located within St. Matthew's Village, Cayo District. At the residence were three occupants, a female and two male persons. One of the male persons made good his escape through the back door, heading in the nearby bushes, with a bag on his back. A searched in the yard, led to the discovery of a green plastic bag containing 84 grams of suspected cannabis. As a result, police have detained two persons and are seeking the third, pending investigation.
