DRUG TRAFFICKING

On 19th August 2014 at about 1:45pm, police conducted a search at the residence of Hilberto TRIMINIUS, 57 year old Belizean Farmer of Xaibe Village, Corozal District. Upon arrival at the house, TRIMINIUS was seen fleeing from the house through the back yard leaving behind Hilcia Aydee LORENZO, 27 year old Guatemalan Domestic of Xaibe Village, Corozal District. A search of the residence revealed nothing incrementing, however, while searching in the back yard police discovered a black plastic bag containing 412 grams of suspected cannabis. As a result, police have detained Hilcia Aydee LORENZO and Hilberto TRIMINIUS pending charges of Drug Trafficking.

THEFT

Avril LOGAN, 51 year old Belizean Teacher of Independence Village, reported that on 18th August 2014 at about 5:00pm, her husband Everisto MUSCHAMP Sr., parked his white and black 23ft skiff at Hocky Pocky water taxi dock. On 19th August 2014 at about 7:00am, she received a call from her son, Everisto MUSCHAMP Jr., saying that the skiff was missing. A short while after arriving at the dock, she was alerted by a friend that the skiff was seen at the marina in Independence Village. Checks were made where she saw the skiff.  One Yamaha 4 stroke 60 horsepower out board engine with serial number 1004619 was stolen from the skiff. Police are investigating.
