COROZAL DISTRICT

THEFT

A 65-year-old retired U.S. National, resident of Ferry Road, Corozal Town reported that, on 10th June 2014 at about 10:30am, he discovered that his ten foot Aluminium Skiff which he had padlock to a metal post on his cement fence - at his residence - was missing. Upon making checks, he discovered that the chain used to padlock the boat was cut. The Skiff has the word (LA COMMANDER) engraved on both sides of the skiff.
 
ORANGE WALK DISTRICT

ROBBERY

On 11th June 2014, a 23-year-old Chinese Businesswoman owner of Sun Luck Store, located on Zericote Street, Orange Walk Town, visited the Orange Walk Police Station to make a report. She reported that on the said date at 2:40pm, three (3) masked men (2 armed with firearms and one with a knife) entered the store and at gun-point demanded money from her. Fearing for her life, she reportedly handed over the cash box which contained approximately $1,000.00Bcy. The three masked men then made good their escape on board a grey 4 door car. Police are investigating.


BELIZE CITY

ROBBERY                     

A 22-year-old Network Administrator of Belmopan City reported that, on 6th June 2014 at about 1:55pm, she went to Atlantic Bank located on Albert Street to deposit $2,500.00Bcy, however, the bank was closed. She further stated that as she was walking up Albert Street and upon reaching the intersection with South Street, a slim built male person of dark complexion approached her from behind. The male person threw down his bicycle and pushed her causing her to fall to the ground. The male person then forcefully grabbed a blue plastic bag containing an envelope with the $2,500.00Bcy. The culprit then got on his bicycle and rode off making good his escape. Police investigations continue.
