FATAL ROAD ACCIDENT
On 28the April 2014 at 3:30pm, police visited an area between miles 26 and 27 on the Phillip Goldson Highway, where they saw a grey Toyota Land Cruiser on the side of the road with extensive damages. Information received is that the driver of the Toyota Land Cruiser, Raul MAGAÑA Sr., 35 year old Belizean Businessman of Ladyville Village, was driving from the Northern border towards Belize City along with his wife, Lissa Ying LI, 28 year old of same address, and his 3 year old son, Raul LI MAGAÑA. Upon reaching the area, the vehicle received a “blow out” to the left rear tire causing him to lose control of the vehicle. The vehicle flipped several times. As a result, his wife and his son received serious head injuries and both died on the spot. Raul MAGAÑA Sr. received a cut wound to his head and right arm. He was transported by B.E.R.T. ambulance to the hospital for treatment. Lissa Ying LI and Raul MAGAÑA Jr. were pronounced dead on arrival. Police investigations continue.

POSTMORTEM EXAMINATION
On 28th April 2014, a postmortem examination was conducted on the body of Norman BENGUCHE Sr., 69 year old Belizean Linesman of Punta Gorda Town, where the cause of death was certified as Exsanguination, Internal Bleeding due to Ruptured Juhclovia Vein injury due to stab wounds.
