BELIZE CITY

ROBBERY

On the 29th of August 2017 at 8:00am, Christiane YOUNG, 21-year-old Belizean Artist of an 8 Miles address, reported that while walking in the Lord Ridge Cemetery, Belize City, at 7:20am, she was approached by a male person who robbed her at gunpoint of her black purse containing $200.00 and a Samsung galaxy Note 5 cell phone in a black case. The male person then made good his escape. Police investigations continue.

BURGLARY

Abel VERA, 49-year-old of a Belize City address, reported that sometime between the hours of 8:00pm on the 29th of August 2017 and 8:00am on the 29th of August 2017, someone burglarized the Jehovah Witness Church located at #99 Cemetery Road. An assorted number of electronic items were stolen. Police investigations continue.

HATTIEVILLE

ROBBERY

At around 8:00pm on the 29th of August 2017, police responded to a robbery in the Windmill area in Hattieville and visited the area where Prince SULPH, 29-year-old Tour Operator of Hattieville, reported that he had just parked his vehicle on Sylvester Boulevard when he was accosted by four male persons, three armed with handguns. He tried to escape from them, but they caught him and hit him on his head with a gun. He was forced to hand over his wallet containing his driver’s license, voters I.D., Atlantic bank debit card, $56.00 US, 1 Invicta watch, and a blue Samsung flip phone. He managed to escape from his robbers. Police investigations continue.
