BELIZE DISTRICT

FOUND PROPERTY

On the 2nd of August 2017, Police conducted a search in an abandoned lot on Partridge Street Extension which led to the discovery of a black plastic bag containing 416 grams of cannabis and another plastic bag containing (47) .223 live rounds. No one was in the area at the time of the search and the items were deposited as found property.
 
On the 2nd of August 2017, Police conducted a search at an abandon lot on Oleander Street, Belize City, which led to the discovery of 228 grams of cannabis. No one was in the area at the time of the search and the items were deposited as found property.

On the 2nd of August 2017, Police conducted a search in an open lot on Periwinkle Street, Belize City, which led to the discovery of 347 grams of cannabis. No one was in the area at the time of the search and the items were deposited as found property.

On the 2nd of August 2017, Police conducted a search in a bushy area in Pinks Alley which led to the discovery of 178 grams of cannabis, a bag containing (23) .380 live rounds and (12) 9mm  live rounds. No one was found in the area and the items were deposited as found property. 

On the 3rd of August 2017, Police conducted a search in the Conch Shell Bay area which led to the discovery of four black plastic bags containing 426 grams of cannabis. No one was in the areas at the time of the search.

ROBBERY

On the 2nd of August 2017, Charles GONZALES, 64 year old Belizean Construction Worker of Belize City, reported that on the same date at about 8:00pm, he was socializing at the corner Youth for the Future Drive and Ebony Street, Belize City, when he was approached by three male persons. One had a chrome in color object resembling a firearm and another was armed with a knife. The male person with the firearm pointed it at him and demanded his belongings. He was then relieved of  his 9mm pistol along with magazine containing 17 live rounds, gold and silver jewelries, a brown in color wallet containing his personal documents and a black in color Samsung cellular phone. The male persons then ran towards the direction of Magazine Road making good their escape. Police are investigating this matter. 

PLACENCIA 

DRUG TRAFFICKING

On the 2nd of August 2017 at 12:00am, Police searched one, James TILLETT, which led to the discovery of 110.3 grams suspected cannabis. As a result, Police have arrested and charged James TILLETT for the offence of Drug Trafficking.
 
FOUND PROPERTY

At 9:15pm on the 2nd of August 2017, Police conducted a search in an abandoned building located on the South Side of Placencia Village which led to the discovery of a black plastic bag which contained 214.7 grams of cocaine and a transparent plastic bag which contained 267.2grams of crack-cocaine.  No one was found in the area and the drugs were deposited as found property.
