HOUSE FIRE

On the 26th of May 2017 at 11:24pm, acting upon information received of a house fire in Carmelita Village, Orange Walk Police along with fire personnel went to the area where they saw a green and white cement house, located by the football field in Carmelita village, completely destroyed by fire. The caretaker of the house, Eustace FLOWERS, Belizean Laborer, reported that at 11:00pm on the same date, the electricity went off and moments later, he saw the building on fire. The house is owned by Carol GILLETTE who is presently in the USA. Police and fire personnel are investigating.

THEFT OF MOTORCYCLE

Kevin Vincent SINGH, 20-year-old Student of Peter Ashdown Street, Belama Phase Two, Belize City, reported that sometime between the hours of 1:00am and 5:30am on the 26th of May 2017, his black 2015 Meilun M1 125-7A motorcycle and license plate number MC-4298 was stolen from in front of his residence. Police are investigating.

MISSING PERSON

On the 26th of May 2017, Stephanie CRAWFORD, 41-year-old of Esperanza, reported that on the 25th of May 2017, at 7:15am, her daughter, Avi Leannie FLOWERS, 16-year-old Student at Eden Seventh Day Adventist School and Resident of Esperanza, left from home en route to school and have not been seen or heard from since. She was last seen wearing her uniform, which is a brown and white checkers skirt, a white button down uniform blouse, white ankle socks and a pair of black shoes. She also took along her black and pink Jansport knapsack. Avi is about 5 feet 4 inches in height, weighs about 120 pound, has fair complexion, shoulder length curly hair and a narrow face with a deep dimple on both cheeks.

MURDER

On the 26th of May 2017, Placencia Police responded to a fight in progress in front of a restaurant located in Seine Bight Village, where they saw the body of Glenn RAMIREZ, 31-year-old Chef, suffering from a single stab wound to the left side of his chest. Investigations revealed that Glenn and his wife Deshawn Martinez RAMIREZ were arguing in front of the restaurant where the argument escalated into a fight and Glenn was fatally stabbed. Police have since detained Deshawn Martinez RAMIREZ, pending charges.
