KEPT FIREARM/AMMUNITION WITHOUT LICENCE

On the 23rd of April 2017 at about 4:00am, police conducted a search in the Hidden Hills Layout area, Corozal District, which led to the discovery of a plastic bag containing a black 9mm pistol with a magazine containing 5 live rounds of ammunition. Police arrested and charged 46-year-old Marta INTERIANO and 43-year-old Sergio PEREZ, both Guatemalan Nationals, for Kept Firearm/Ammunition without a Gun License.

BELIZE CITY

KEPT PROHIBITED FIREARM/ AMMUNITION/POSSESSION OF DRUGS

On the 23rd of April 2017, while police were conducting mobile patrol on Krooman Road around 4:40pm, they stopped and searched Fenton REYES, 30-year-old Mechanic of St. Martin’s area, Belize City. The search resulted in the discovery of 4.5 grams of cannabis, a black.22 pen gun and a .22 live round. Fenton REYES was arrested and charged for Possession of Controlled Drugs, Possession of Prohibited Firearm and Kept Ammunition without a Gun License.
 
FOUND PROPERTY

On the 23rd of April 2017 at about 12:15pm, police conducted a search at an abandoned lot on Cran Street, Belize City, which led to the discovery of a black plastic bag containing (12) Aguila 9mm live rounds of ammunition. The ammunition were deposited as “Found Property”.
 
SAN IGNACIO TOWN

FOUND PROPERTY

A predawn operation was conducted on the 24th of April 2017, jointly by the Quick Response Team and Special Branch of the San Ignacio Police Detachment which resulted in the discovery of a double barrel homemade shotgun in Hot Point Area of Santa Elena Town. No one was found in the area and as such it was deposited as "Found Property".
