SHOOTING INCIDENT

At approximately 6:08pm on 3rd November 2014, a 15-year-old male minor was shot to the right shoulder while walking through Fredrick Alley in Belize City on his way home. He was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment. He was admitted in a stable condition. Police investigations continue.
 
BURGLARY                        

At 7:38am on 3rd November 2014, police responded to a report of a burglary that occurred on Mercy Lane, Belize City. The 28-year-old director reported that, on 3rd November 2014 at about 7:34am, she arrived at her workplace, the Belize Cancer Society on Mercy Lane, and upon opening the door she noticed that the office was burglarized. Stolen from inside the office were $120.00 in different denominations and an assortment of food and snacks. Police investigations continue.
 
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT                         

Enrique EDWARDS, 52 year old Belizean Custom Broker of Belize City, reported that, on 3rd November 2014 at about 1:15pm, he was driving a Black and Silver 2001 Mitsubishi L200 pickup truck bearing license plates  C-12624 on Sundial Avenue from the direction of Durgeon Drive towards Coney Drive in Belize City. Upon reaching at the junction with Coney Drive, he made a left turn into Coney Drive when a white and black Honda Sports bike that was travelling from the direction of Button Wood Bay collided into the left front portion of the truck causing the driver of the bike to fall off onto the pavement sustaining minor injuries. The Sports bike was being driven by police constable Bernard BLADES, attached to Precinct four, Belama Police Station. He was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital for treatment and observation. Police investigations continue.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT

At about 9:08am on 4th November 2014, police responded to a traffic accident in the vicinity of mile 8 on the George Price Highway where they saw Elisa HUNTER, 31 year old of Belize City, on the side of the Highway suffering from head and body injuries. She was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital in a critical condition where she is presently undergoing treatment. Initial investigations revealed that Amir GARCIA, 25yrs, the driver of the black 2015 Prado was accompanied by the minister of Foreign Affairs as they were heading in the direction of Belmopan when HUNTER crossed the highway in his path and was hit. A Notice of Intended Prosecution was served to GARCIA and a blood sample was taken. Police investigations continue.
