RAPE
An 18-year-old student of Belize City reported that on 11th October 2014 at about 11:00pm, she was invited by two male persons to a party in Ladyville to which she agreed. At about 11:30pm, they arrived at Ladyville and drove to one of the male person’s house, which is located within Ladyville, where they started drinking alcoholic beverages. She stated that she got intoxicated and the male person took her into his bedroom to lie down and she passed out. Few minutes later she woke up and realized that the male person was having sex with her against her will. Then the other male person reportedly also had sex with her as well. Police investigations continue.

RE: SHOOTING INCIDENT
Reference the Shooting Incident sent on 14th October 2014, police have charged a 16-year-old male minor of Belize City for the murder of Jose UMANA.
BELMOPAN CITY
ROBBERY
On 13th October 2014 at 4:30am, a Security Guard reported that, on 12th October 2014 at 6:00pm, he reported for duty at the sugar factory located in Valley of Peace Village. He was in possession of a black pump 12-gauge shotgun with 4 cartridges loaded in it. At about 9:00pm, while standing at the main gate, two persons approached on separate motorcycles. He noted they were accompanied by another male person and a female. They stopped at the gate and said that they wanted to go into the factory and he complied. After a moment, the two males came out on the motorcycles. He then searched them to see if they had taken anything from the factory. Two of them got upset and reportedly started to beat him. He shouted for help and the other security guards came to his assistance. The men then took his shotgun from him, pointed it at him and threatened him. Thereafter, the male person made good their escape. Police have since recovered the shotgun and ammunition. Police also detained both men, pending charges.
SAN IGNACIO TOWN
DROWNING
Walter PENNER, 35 year old of Spanish Lookout, reported that on 13th October 2014 at about 4:00pm, he and his four sons including 6-year-old Elam PENNER left his home driving a towhead trailer to deliver corn in Spanish Lookout. He stated that he parked the trailer on top of the pit and went outside to open the holes that the trailer has underneath. He further stated that he went and unloaded the corn and had already opened (7) seven holes and went to open another hole when he heard a cry. He noticed that his 6-year-old son had fallen into the pit. He reportedly shouted for help where a man came and assisted him and took out his son from inside the pit. He then took his son to the Belmopan Hospital where he was informed that his son was already dead. Police investigations continue.
Reference the Murder of Kevin Andrew TAYLOR Jr. which occurred on 10th October 2014 at about 3:50pm, on 13th October 2014, police arrested and charged Brian BELL, 27 year old of Unitedville Village; and Tyron RUSHFORD, 32 year old of Blackman Eddy Village, jointly, for the crime of murder.
INDEPENDENCE VILLAGE
The body of 33-year-old Lizette ALDANA was found, at about 9:00am on 14th October 2014, on the Tex Mar Shrimp Farm Road in Independence with multiple gunshot wounds. The body has been transported to the Southern Regional Hospital where it awaits a postmortem examination. Police investigations continue.
