COROZAL DISTRICT

MISSING PERSON

Judith TESECUM, of Libertad Village, Corozal District reported that on 11th October 2014 at around 8:30am, her 16-year-old daughter, Lilliana TECK, of the village was missing. Liliana TECK is of Hispanic descent, light brown skin, and about 5 feet 1 inch in height. She weighs about 130lbs; has long black straight hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a gold colored dress with black shoes. Police investigations continue.

LADYVILLE VILLAGE

BURGLARY

Amir BAEZA, of Ladyville Village, visited the station and reported that on 10th October 2014, he left his cement bungalow house well secured at about 7:40am and then travelled to Belize City for work. However, he was later informed that someone was at his house. He decided to investigate and upon his arrival at 3:30pm, he observed his gate and back burglar door was open. He then drove to Ladyville Police Station. Ladyville Police officers then went to check the report and it was noted that electronic items, jewelry and other miscellaneous items were missing. Police investigations continue.
 
STABBING INCIDENT

On 12th October 2014 at about 3:50am, police responded to a fight in progress in Ladyville Village. Police visited an area on Stork Street where they saw Lyndon FLOWERS, 21 year old of Ladyville Village, lying in a drain with apparent stab wounds to the chest area. The body was then taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital he was pronounced dead at 6:30am on October 12, 2014. Police investigations continue.
 
POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED DRUGS

On 11th October 2014 at about 9:25pm, police stopped to search a male person who then took out a black plastic bag out of his back pocket and immediately threw it over the fence. The male person was taken to where the bag was thrown. The bag was found to contain suspected cannabis. At the Ladyville police station, the suspected cannabis was weighed. The drug amounted to 10.8 grams.
Police then arrested and charged Kadi McKOY for the offence of Possession of a Controlled Drug.
