STABBING INCIDENT
On 7th October 2014 at 5:37pm, police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital where they saw Sheffield YSAGUIRRE, 27 year old Belizean Diver of Belize City, suffering from (1) apparent stab wound to the left side of his chest and (1) cut wound to the right hand. Initial investigations revealed that at about 5:30pm, on the same date, Sheffield YSAGUIRRE was standing on Albert Hoy Street when he was approached by a man who took out a 'bora' (ice pick) and stabbed him causing the injuries. Police are looking for this man as investigations continue.

ROBBERY/STABBING INCIDENT
Cleofosio ASSI, 28 year old Belizean Security Guard of DFC Area, reported that on 7th October 2014 at 1:15pm, he was walking on Barrier Reef Drive en route to Belize Bank in order to do routine deposit. ASSI had $39,655.75 cash inside his backpack which were the proceeds of B.E.L. He stated that upon reaching in front of a store, he felt someone grab his backpack. A struggle ensued and as a result, he received a stab wound to the right shoulder. The culprit then took his backpack and made good his escape. Police have since detained several persons in connection with this Robbery.
BELMOPAN
FOUND PROPERTY
On 7th October 2014 about 1:10pm, Belmopan Police were conducting mobile patrols in Teakettle Village where they searched an abandoned lot located on Pooks Hill, Arizona Road. The search led to the discovery of a black plastic bag which contained green leafy substance, suspected to be cannabis. No one was found in the immediate area. The suspected cannabis was weighed and amounted to 854grams. The drug was then labeled as Found Property.
BENQUE VIEJO TOWN
MISSING PERSON
Omar REYMUNDO, 36 year old Belizean Chef of Benque Viejo Town, reported that on 7th October 2014 about 6:30pm his 15-year-old son, Christian REYMUNDO, a First Form Student of Mopan Technical High School, informed him that he was heading to his aunt’s house at New Area Benque to do an assignment. Christian left his house riding his black beach cruiser bicycle. On the same date at 10:00pm, Christian’s brother went to search for him but could not locate him. However, he found Christian’s bicycle with a 15-year-old student. According to the student, Christian left his bicycle with him. Contact was made with the aunt who stated that she had not seen Christian. Christian is about 5 feet in height; has a low haircut, narrow face, sharp nose, and a light brown complexion. He also has a round birth mark behind the left side of his head. Police are investigating.
PLACENCIA VILLAGE
POSTMORTEM EXAMINATION
On 7th October 2014, between the hours of 3:00pm and 4:30pm, a postmortem examination was conducted on the body of Byron CASTILLO, 34 year old Belizean of Seine Bight Village, which certified the cause of death as acute chemical pneumonia due to bronchial aspiration due to the ingestion of chemical substance Malathion type.
